Battery & Charger

Safety is the top priority when selecting a battery. Look for a battery with built-in protections against overcharge, over-discharge, over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature, and short circuits. Ensure the battery is certified by recognized standards like CE, FCC, UKCA, and RoHS for safe and reliable performance.

Make sure to use a battery with the correct voltage for your heated apparel. Mismatched voltage can lead to reduced performance or even damage to your gear. Always check the voltage compatibility with your heated clothing.

The battery’s capacity, measured in milliampere-hours (mAh), determines how long it will last. A larger capacity means a longer runtime, so choose a battery that fits your usage needs for extended warmth throughout the day.

The battery’s portability is key, as it fits into the designated pocket of your heated apparel. For a lighter option, consider the Venustas 5K battery weighing just 6.56oz. For more power, the Venustas 7.5K battery and Venustas 10K battery provide higher capacity, though they come with a bit more weight.

The battery’s charging time depends on its capacity and the charger’s output. Larger-capacity batteries typically take longer to recharge, so make sure you have enough time to fully charge your battery before use.
