Comparison reflects setup steps common to 12V heated systems, not any one brand.
The control is built into the liner. Nothing on your bars, nothing running down your sleeve, nothing to leave behind in a tank bag.
Heat levels measured at the inner lining under controlled conditions.
The jacket draws 3.5A at full power. With the engine running, your charging system covers the liner and keeps topping up the battery at the same time.
Example: a bike with a 300W stator
Your stator output needs to cover what the bike already uses, plus the heated gear. Check your bike's spec sheet.

Idling a lot? On smaller or older bikes, long stretches at idle can still run the battery down. Drop a level or run one piece.
Engine off, heat off. With nothing charging, a heated liner will drain the battery fast.
38W high-output heating system with 2 large heating zones delivers powerful warmth without adding unnecessary bulk. Stay warm, stay agile, and ride with confidence.

FAQ
Not while you’re riding, on most bikes. The jacket liner draws 42W (3.5A at 12V). With the engine running, your charging system powers the liner and tops up the battery at the same time. To check your bike, your stator output needs to cover what the bike already uses, plus your heated gear. For example, a 300W stator with 140W of stock load leaves 160W to spare. On smaller or older bikes, long stretches at idle can still run the battery down, so drop to a lower level. Never leave the heat on with the engine off.
No. The liner ships with a Y cable that has the fuse already inside, and the heat control is built into the garment, so there’s no controller to buy. If you add the Apex™ pant liner and want both running from a single lead, you’ll need the 3-Way cable (sold separately).
Connect the Y cable to your battery once, positive to positive and negative to negative, and route the lead to where you sit. After that, plug the liner in when you ride. The fuse is already inside the cable, so there’s nothing to choose or install separately.
Press the button on the liner to cycle through three levels: High, Medium and Low. It’s sized to use with gloves on.
144°F (62°C) on High, 130°F (54°C) on Medium and 112°F (44°C) on Low. Always wear it over a thin base layer, not against bare skin.
Yes, with a Venustas High Power 7.5K battery (sold separately). Drop it into the battery pocket and the heat keeps going while you’re off the bike. On a battery, expect about 1.5 hours on High, 2 on Medium and 3 on Low. For riding, the 12V connection gives you heat for as long as the engine runs.
No. Apex™ is a mid-layer with no abrasion or impact protection. Wear it under your riding jacket, over a thin base layer.
Yes. Each liner works on its own with its own Y cable. Most riders start with the jacket and add the pants later.
Plug both liners into the 3-Way cable (sold separately), then connect it to one Y cable on the bike. Or run each piece on its own Y cable, using two 12V connections.
They’re built in for heated gloves, so the liner is ready for future Venustas heated gloves. We don’t offer compatible gloves yet, so for now there’s nothing to plug in, and the ports stay out of the way while you ride.
Yes, on any vehicle with a 12V DC power supply. Check that your vehicle’s charging output can cover the extra load.
Disconnect all cables first. The liner is machine washable, though hand washing will help it last longer. Dry flat in the shade. Do not dry clean or iron.
The heating elements are covered for 3 years from the date of purchase.
We emailed you a personal code at launch. Enter it at checkout for $50 off your order. It can be used once, on the Apex™ jacket liner, pant liner or both. It can’t be combined with other order-level discounts. A qualifying order also gets the 3-Way cable free and lifetime coverage on the heating elements. The lifetime coverage applies to orders placed with the email you reserved with.
